In this hectic world that demands so much of our time, it can be dfficult to attend to our dogs' many needs, so we, at See Spot Run!! Canine Services, are here to help!

We understand your dedication and the love you express for your canine by providing the best for him, and we are here to help provide such services as group hikes and kennel free boarding in the garden suite of our home.  Because See Spot Run!! is owned and operated by Alessandro and Denise Fantinato, you will personally know who cares for your dog, and that he will be treated as much as our family member as he is yours.  Since our inception in November of 2007, we have chosen to not have staff, but to work with our clients ourselves.  We remain a two person, husband and wife team whom you will get to know and trust with your best friend.

Alessandro is our pack leader on our group hikes in the North Shore, where we provide two hikes per day, Monday through Friday while Denise remains at home base to tend to dogs in our care and administration. Both Denise and Alessandro are k9 first aid certified and well versed in canine body language and behaviour. Denise has attended weekend seminars with trainers such as  Brenda Aloff and Nicole Wilde, covering topics such as fear and aggression in dogs, canine body language, separation anxiety, and focus work.  Denise and her Pit Bull, Tina, have also been training in agility for fun for several years. The skills learned here are invaluable to utilize with the dogs in our care, but probably the best training we have had and continue to gain would be our volunteer work fostering and rehabilitating rescued dogs. Many of our former foster dogs have come back as clients, and it is wonderful to see them so happy, balanced and loved in their forever homes.

Please call Denise at (604) 432-9663 (woof) for more information and to book your free consultation for group hikes so that Alessandro can meet you and your dog, and discuss your dogs’ needs, including information such as training, medical or behavioral concerns we need to be aware of.  Your dog will also join in so that he will become familiar with Alessandro before going for a walk around the block to get acquainted.   All dogs over the age of 6 months must be spayed/neutered.

Licensed, Insured, Bonded, and Canine First Aid Certified.

See Spot Run!! Canine Services is passionate about dog rescue, locally and abroad.

We have been supporting dog & cat rescue in Bosnia for years, and have created a GoFundMe for urgently needed veterinary, food, housing and transportation costs for the hundreds of rescued dogs and cats in Naida’s care at any given time.

Please read Naida and her dogs stories by clicking on the link below, and help by donating, sharing, or both!

Thank you for your generosity and compassion for dogs and cats who desperately need our help
